12/27/2012 - Pirate City Christmas Camp and Tournament Jaime is a LHP/OF who is only a 2015 grad. He appears comfortable and in control on the mound. His 3/4 arm slot produces a fastball with some cut to it. When he combines that with his curve-ball that has 2/8 shape, he makes it very difficult on left-handed hitters. He is around the plate and works quickly - going right after hitters. Better landing and a quieter head will lead to more consistent command of his stuff. At the plate, he shows good discipline and a coordinated left handed stroke. He has good aptitude and can be a productive hitter in time. As an outfielder, he tracks balls well and has a feel for both corner spots. His throws have carry and are accurate. Overall, LHPs are always in demand and Jaime shows the makings of a pitch mix that should be monitored closely.
