12/27/2014 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Jake is a naturally strong two-way player (RHP/1B). On the mound, Jake looks to compete and win the battle with hitters. Arm works freely from a 3/4 arm slot as he pounds the zone with his FB (78-81mph), working both sides of the plate. He throws strikes, gets ahead in the count and challenges hitters to make adjustments. Offensively, Jake displays a square setup while utilizing a strong lower 1/2. When Jake is loose and hips/hands coordinate, he has pop to all fields. Defensively, Jake is a solid target at 1B with great body control. He displays the ability to make the 3-6-3 DP with ease. Jake replaces his feet for accurate throws to the plate and 2B. Jake is a humble player that has fun playing the game.
