07/31/2013 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 James is a catcher who plays the game hard and shows leadership qualities. Defensively behind the plate, he sits in well with good flexion. He shows quick footwork with the ability to get around pitches in the dirt and center them off of his chest. He gains ground toward 2B and threw his lowest pop times to date (2.27). Continuing to work on his transfer will help to lower times. As a hitter, this righty shows a tall setup and a good eye for the strike zone. He shows some pull side pop and will increase power will increased use of his lower 1/2 throughout his swing. James is a great kid who is very coachable and will have success in the future thanks to his work ethic.
