07/18/2024 - Baseball Factory National World Series at JRTC (HS) Jameson is a talented RHP/3B who has a promising future on the diamond. On the mound, delivery is sound and repeatable allowing his arm to work clean/quick to the plate. Fastball showed a range of 74-79 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At 3B, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to square balls up but needs to play through with his body. Glove action is firm but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a wide setup. Hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields, flashing gap-to-gap pop. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. At the event, he was 3 for 10. With 3 years to further develop, Jameson has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
