01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament
Jarvis is a 2025 C/OF who showcased his talents at the BF Pre-Season All-America Tournament. He showed some speed in his 60-yard dash running a 7.12. Behind the plate, he has active feet and good range. He makes it easy for pitchers to pitch to him staying in a comfortable position and showing a good target. Jarvis throws from a high arm slot and uses good momentum on his throws. He did a great job of centering and keeping the ball in front of him while blocking. His best pop time was 2.26 seconds. At the plate, he starts from an open stance and has an effective load. He has good timing and doesn’t get fooled. He swings with intent always trying to do damage. With another year to develop, we foresee Jarvis becoming a great prospect.
09/10/2023 - National Showcase - Greenville, SC
Jarvis is a 2025 C/3B prospect with a strong frame at 5'9" 180 pounds. At C, he gets in an athletic setup and shows off active, efficient footwork. He squares up his pitcher and gives a good, low target. He presents his hands out in front and he displays soft hands and the ability to deaden the baseball when receiving. He is very flexible and does a nice job of tracking the baseball. He has a quick exchange and makes accurate throws from a high 3/4 slot with carry to his target. Shows a ton of upside at the position. At third, he shows off efficient movements and range to the glove side. He gets in a low, squared fielding position and works hard to field with soft hands out in front. His exchange is quick and he makes accurate throws with carry to his targets. At the plate, he starts in an open stance and has a short, squared stride to the pitcher. He does a great job of keeping his balance centered and shows off fluid movements in the box with good rhythm and timing. He lets his lower half lead and his power really plays. He has quick hands and a short, direct path to the baseball. He squares the ball up consistently. Overall, Jarvis is an exciting prospect with a ton of upside that we are looking forward to seeing more of!

Jarvis continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.27 runner. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Hands are clean but needs to present more out front. Behind the plate he shows a squared setup and tracks the ball well with soft glove. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get body down sooner. Pop times showed in the 2.25 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting / power potential are now well above average through a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent hard contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn.

Jarvis is a good looking 2025 prospect. The C/OF has likeable tools that give him a promising future. Behind the plate he receives the ball well with a firm glove and has good quiet actions that make pitchers want to throw to him. At the plate he features good bat speed and some strength in his base that make him a candidate for future power.
01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament
Jarvis is a catching prospect who will graduate in 2025. During this event, he would show great defensive work behind the plate posting above average rating in his receiving and blocking. We were excited to see his arm on display, throwing a raw velo of 69mph. With his clean exchange, he posted a 2.45 pop time. Not only did he impress behind the dish, but he also showed his ability to swing the bat. His athletic set up, short swing, and centered approach helped him provide a consistent approach at the plate. Working on staying in his legs as he swings will help his power numbers to grow. Overall, Jarvis is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.
07/16/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 12-14)
Jarvis continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Behind the plate, feet are active as he works in line through a clean transfer / exchange as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. Pop times showed in the 2.70 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he continues to build more arm strength through a long toss program. He shows a squared setup and receives the ball well. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. At the plate, hitting potential has improved through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude and good instincts with plays with a lot of energy.
03/24/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Greenville, SC
Jarvis is a solid 2-way player who catches and plays SS. Behind the plate, Jarvis has efficient footwork, he tracks the ball well, and he centers properly on his body. He deadens softly when blocking, hands are firm, and he throws with consistency to 2nd base. Pop times were as low as 2.7 seconds. At SS, Jarvis has presentable hands, efficient footwork, and he fields low and squarely. He gains ground, works the double play nicely, and throws with accuracy across the diamond. At the plate, Jarvis has a square set-up, a short stride, and quick hands. He has fast bat speed, a level swing path, and he can spray the ball to all fields. Jarvis can continue to get better with work on the following.
