07/25/2022 - All-In Membership - Sanford (Orlando), FL Jason is a RHP/2B prospect who will graduate in 2025. In the field, Jason makes the routine plays and presents his hands well. He gets into a low fielding position and his exchange is clean which leads to accurate throws to his target. At the plate, this RHH has a square stance and takes a short stride. He drives through the ball well with his lower half and peppered the ball to all fields during his round of BP. On the mound, Jason gathers over the rubber and works in line through his target. He throws with a loose arm action and extends through his release. Jason operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 67 mph. Curveball sits from 56-60 mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 60-63 mph. Overall, Jason is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
