12/20/2023 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Jaxon is a lean of who will graduate in 2027. In the OF, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work to and through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be. With 4 years to further develop, Jaxon has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
