Jaxon is a talented catcher and right-handed pitcher from West Fargo, ND, who will graduate in 2025, showcased his impressive abilities at the Arizona Senior Fall Classic. With a long frame and athletic build, he exudes high energy and displays excellent body language on the field. As a catcher, he presents a reliable target with soft hands and an athletic secondary stance, gaining momentum to second base with a best pop time of 2.15 seconds and accurate throws. His quick footwork and good spine angle enhance his blocking skills. On the mound, he pitches effectively ahead in the count, maintaining an inline stride and a competitive nature as he challenges hitters with a fastball, breaking ball, and changeup. During the tournament, he demonstrated strong command, throwing 66% of his pitches for strikes. At the plate, he uses a controlled stride to hit hard line drives to the pull side, reaching base with a single and a walk while adding three stolen bases. With his impressive frame and skill set, he has the potential to excel at the next level with continued development.

Jaxon is a C prospect who will graduate in 2025. Tall frame, with high waist, athletic build with strength present. At C, he showed efficient footwork with good agility. He has an athletic/low secondary stance and presents a low target. Good lateral movement, with good blocking angles, and centers the baseball. Works thumb under, with a clean exchange, and work into a high 3/4 release point. He made on-line throws to second base, with a quick release, and arm velocity was up to 80mph and his best pop time was 2.2 seconds. Covers the 5-hole on his blocks. A right-handed hitter he hits from an upright and open stance. He has simple swing, with a relaxed setup, and keeps his weight between his knees. Gets extended through the baseball as he squared up baseballs to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 80mph during BP. With 2 years of continued growth and development, we see Jaxon having opportunities to play at the next level.
11/18/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Fall Prospects Tournament (HS)
Jaxon is a C/OF prospect in the class of 2025. At the plate, he showed good feel for his swing throughout the weekend. Simple set up and load helped him get into consistent launch positions. He did a good job of staying on time and tracking the ball deep into his barrel. Worked mainly pull side in his round of BP. In the field, he showed good overall actions at both positions. Behind the plate, he did a good of presenting low targets as well as sitting deep in his squat. Could benefit from a long toss program. In the outfield, he showed good feet and range to both sides of him. Did a good job creating momentum to throw. Jaxon is an exciting young prospect that we hope to see again in the future.
01/21/2022 - Baseball Factory Spring Training in Arizona (HS)
Jaxon continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt, tracks ball well and sticks pitches in the zone. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get down sooner. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.32. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.
09/19/2021 - All-In Membership - Sioux Falls, SD
Jaxon is an athletic C/OF prospect who will graduate in 2025. Behind the dish, Jaxon is active moving to block and keeps dirt balls in front of him. He tracks the ball into his glove and works to make accurate throws to the 2B bag. Sitting in a more athletic stance can help Jaxon improve his overall catching ability. In the OF, Jaxon shows efficient footwork and takes good angles to the ball. He fields with a firm glove and works to make accurate throws to his target. Jaxon can make stronger throws by working on his crow hop. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and leads well with his lower half. He barrels up the baseball and uses the entire field. Maintaining center balance throughout his swing can help Jaxon create more consistent contact. With four more years to develop, Jaxon has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
