02/13/2021 - Official Player Development Membership - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Bell is a hard working 2-way player who continues to progression. On the mound, he works tall, has smooth separation and drives in-line toward the dish. He has sound mechanics and repeats well. FB sits 67-68 mph with good arm-side run. Changeup has slight run and compliments his FB well as he maintains the same arm speed. At SS, he has quick/active prep and works fluidly from right to left. He funnels smoothly and has a clean transfer/exchange with accurate throws across the diamond. With the bat, this righty shows an open stance with centered balance and fluid rhythm to load. Quick hands whip the barrel to and through the zone as he connects with the pitch on the inner 1/2 and pulls it with pop (exit velocity = 75 mph). Only a 2025 grad - the future looks very bright for this young 2-way prospect.

07/07/2019 - Baseball Factory Cleveland All Star Experience (Ages 12-14) Jayden is a coachable SS/OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Cleveland All Star Experience. In the field, Jayden shows efficient footwork and fields with sure hands. He gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate to his target. Increasing his lateral range can help Jayden improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and works to barrel up the baseball. His hips and hands work well together as he drives the ball into the gaps. Jayden can improve as a hitter by being more controlled getting into his load. With six more years to develop his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
