Defensively, Jayden demonstrated really good hands at first base, consistently handling tough plays and showing a strong ability to field short hops with confidence. His fundamentals are solid, and he’s a reliable presence on the infield. As he continues to refine his range and lateral movement, Jayden has the potential to become even more effective defensively. On the mound, Jayden’s fastball was clocked at 66 MPH, and he complemented it with a curveball at 59 MPH and a changeup at 61 MPH. While his velocity is still developing, Jayden shows a good pickoff move to first base, demonstrating his ability to control the running game and keep base stealers in check. With continued work on pitching mechanics and adding velocity, he has the potential to become a more consistent and effective pitcher.
