06/17/2024 - College World Series Experience - Session 1 Jaymeson continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate is where he shows best, displaying outstanding hitting abilities with well above average power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He has strength (85 mph exit velocity) in his swing and shows feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing as he transfers weight into a firm front side. At 3B, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate with carry (82 mph velocity) to his target.

01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Jaymeson is a 2026 3B/RHP who showcased his talents at the BF Pre-Season All-America Tournament. At 3B, he has a good first step and effective footwork. He works on the balls of his feet and has smooth actions. He has a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quick across the infield. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and has good accuracy on his throws across the infield. On the mound, Jaymeson showed a fastball that sat 74-75 mph with high volume of strikes. He also had a curveball with 11-5 break and a changeup that he had good feel for. Jaymeson had good balance on the mound and an effortless delivery. At the plate, he starts from an athletic stance and has an activated load. He gets good extension, has fast hands, and showcased some power with an 84 mph exit velocity. In game, he reached base several times with 2 hits and 3 walks. As Jaymeson continues to mature, we foresee him continuing to develop as a baseball player.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
