Jed is a 2024 3B/OF prospect from Seattle, WA. At third, he does a great job pre-pitch of getting in a good ready position. He displays quick feet and has agile range to all angles. He gets in a good athletic fielding position and does a nice job of fielding the ball out in front. His backhand is smooth. He shows off a quick exchange and makes good accurate throws from different arm slots depending on the play. In the OF, he shows off similar characteristics with impressive footwork and crisp routes to fly balls. He gets his glove in a good lane and does a good job of getting behind the baseball to make plays. He works hard to get a good first step but is more than athletic enough to be a plus defender in the outfield. At the plate, he starts in an open stance and has a short stride to the pitcher. His hands are exceptionally quick and his bat speed jumps out at you. His balance is centered and his lower half explodes through the baseball, helping him show off some pop to the pull side. He made hard, consistent contact. Jed is very capable of playing at the next level with one more year of high school still out in front of him!
09/21/2022 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic (2024)
Jed is a 2024 MINF prospect out of Seattle, WA who continues to show as a prospect and did so with his baseball abilities at the Arizona Junior Fall Classic. He impressed with his high baseball IQ. At SS, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth/clean actions. Feet are active as attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is soft/sure and presents well out front. He moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground in the MINF. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting abilities are solid with well above average power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (93 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable, hustles, and works hard to be the best player he can be.

Jed is a 2024 SS with an athletic frame. He continues to show improvements in his skills. At the SS position he works through the ball well and presents soft hands. Complementing his ability to work through the ball is the skill of fielding the ball out in front and the range he currently possesses. Shows good game awareness at the position and leadership qualities. With 2 years to develop before the next level he will continue to sharpen the small details at the SS position. At the plate, he has an efficient swing and hits the ball to all fields. The line-drive approach is produced from his direct swing path and ability to finish through the ball.

Jed is a 2024 prospect out of Seattle, WA who continues to shine with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.35 runner. At SS, he displays smooth/fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean presents out front. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. At the event, he was 3 for 5 with a 2B and 2 BB. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 74 mph. Fastball shows a range of 72-74 mph with arm side run. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run/sink. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.
02/12/2021 - Baseball Factory Opening Day Classic (HS - West)
Jed is a 2024 SS/RHP. High-waisted, athletic frame with a lot of room to fill out. Primary SS with fluidity and a compact arm action. Good accuracy across with throws recorded up to 79 mph across the diamond. Centers ball and tries to field out front. Secondary RHP with a side step into a higher leg lift. 3/4 arm slot with a medium arm circle. Closed off upon foot strike with whip to the arm. Developing pitcher who flashed a 10/4 curveball and a changeup with good sink. RHH with a high hand set and an open stance. Good balance into contact with a flat barrel path. Middle of the field approach with some lift to the swing path overall. Excellent two way potential and 3 1/2 years to tap into the tools to help get him to the next level.
10/14/2020 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic
Jed is a coachable SS/RHP prospect who showcased his skills during the Arizona Fall Classic. In the field, Jed makes the routine plays and works to keep his throws accurate to his target. Getting into a more athletic fielding position can help Jed field ground balls more efficiently. At the plate, this switch hitter sets up in an open stance and takes a short stride. He gets into a small load and produces solid line drives. Jed can barrel up more baseballs by working a smoother rhythm into his load. On the mound, Jed gathers over the rubber and works inline toward the plate, finishing with a controlled landing. He shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 70mph. Breaking ball sits from 57-58mph with 10-4 break. Long tossing can help Jed build up his arm strength. With four more years to develop, Jed has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. At SS, he displays smooth/athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls but needs to play through with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. On the mound, he showed a controlled/repeatable delivery that allows his arm action to work well to the plate. Fastball showed a range of 70-71 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With 4 years to further develop, Jed has potential with time and room to progress his game.
