07/28/2023 - Baseball Factory National World Series at JRTC (MS) Jensen is a 2029 3B prospect that recently showcased his skills at the National World Series at the JRTC. He does well to get into an athletic position pre-pitch, and gets low and presents his hands out in front when fielding. He has some range to all angles and closes the distance on ground balls. His exchange is clean and he creates momentum to his targets with his throws. He makes accurate throws across the diamond with a short arm action. He recorded a raw velo of 64 MPH, improving on previous marks. At the plate, he starts in a wide, squared, athletic stance with high, loose hands. He gets an activated load and squared stride toward the pitcher. His lower half stays centered throughout contact and he gets good extension through contact. He shows off impressive barrel control and rotates his core well. He is able to use all fields and sprays the ball. In game action, he reached base in 2 of 7 plate appearances with a double to right center and a hit by pitch. He has a solid baseball IQ and works hard on the baseball diamond. Overall, Jensen is an exciting prospect that should continue to develop well with two more years before he enters high school!
