He shows off good balance in the box and has a firm frontside with his lower half. He flashed some quick hands and works hard to stay direct to the baseball. He has an excellent finish through contact and gets good rotation with his hips. He makes consistent, line-drive contact to all fields. On the mound, he throws from a high 3/4 slot and features a solid 3-pitch mix with a good feel for the strike zone. He does well to get on-time separation and has a clean arm action with a good glove arm on the frontside. He gets good extension through his release and a solid follow through. He ran his FB up to 80 MPH and showed some sink with the pitch. His CB impressed and has signs of a 12-6 break. Overall, Jeremiah is an exciting prospect that we are looking forward to seeing more of!

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
