01/18/2013 - 2013 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Erisman continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and now shows as a solid college player, possibly a two-way guy. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now an above average runner at 7.20. He utilizes his quick, athletic feet well in tracking down balls through proper routes / angles. He works to get behind balls and plays through well as he has improved his defensive grades. Throws are accurate, flashing carry as he will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting / power grades have improved now showing solid average abilities. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed through a level swing path. He is aggressive and works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields and shows a feel for the barrel with the baseball jumping off his bat when centered. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 80-82 mph with arm side run with sink. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late / sharp break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a feel for with arm side run. Off speed pitches show as quality pitches that will get outs at the next level. Command / control are a plus as he throws strikes with all his pitches.
