08/05/2013 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Jeremy is a solid 3B that will graduate in 2015. At the plate is where Wasik shows best, solid average hitting abilities with above average power through an athletic setup. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed through a level swing path. Barrel accuracy is a plus with the baseball exploding off the bat when centered, mainly to the pull side. For hitting grades to continue to improve, he needs to work to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields. He utilizes his feet in squaring ball and displays clean hands. For defensive grade to improve, he needs to attack ground balls more and play through while presenting hands more out front. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is a hard worker and is very coachable. With 2 years to further develop, Jeremy has potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches as he continues to improve.
