12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory Holiday Classic at Pirate City Jhett is a talented 2026 outfielder from Richwood, TX, who worked hard to improve his skills at the Baseball Factory Pirate City Holiday Camp. He has a solid pre-pitch routine and starts on the balls of his feet, demonstrating efficient footwork and good positioning. Jhett works behind and through the baseball with excellent direction, showcasing a quick exchange and the ability to get rid of the ball with a short arm stroke. His arm velocity reaches up to 83 mph, demonstrating his strong arm from the outfield. At the plate, Jhett takes a square stride, separates his hands well, and gets good extension, creating fast bat speed. His aggressive swing approach proved effective during live games, as he reached base with two singles, two walks, and was hit by a pitch. Additionally, Jhett displayed above-average base running skills with good dirtball reads, showing his awareness and athleticism on the field. Another year of growth and development will further help Jhett refine his abilities, making him even more capable of playing at the next level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
