01/01/2013 - 2013 Baseball Factory Top 100, powered by Under Armour LHH shortstop who makes it look easy. Line drive stroke with good plane utilizes the whole field. Glides defensively with the range and arm necessary to stay at SS.

08/18/2012 - Under Armour All-America Game Crawford has a projectable body at 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, he has length in his frame with room to get bigger and stronger. His defensive actions are fluid and easy, while his feet and ability to move standout. At the plate, he features a loose and full stroke that presently produces line drive contact, as he matures he projects to hit for more power. Has among the higher ceilings of any position player in the 2013 class.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
