07/17/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Rindge, NH John is a 3B who will graduate in 2022. Defensively at 3B, he hustles laterally and tries to work into a square fielding position. He fields GB's smoothly with his backhand and gives accurate feeds on DP's. At the plate, this RHH gets back into a solid load. He keeps his hands inside and drives pitches with pop to his pull side. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
