08/18/2012 - Under Armour All-America Game Denney is a well rounded prospect with talent both behind the plate and with the bat. He combines arm strength with excellent catch and throw skills as one of the top throwing catchers in the country, and his receiving and blocking skills are solid as well. His right handed stroke is quick and powerful, allowing him to generate excellent raw power. Among the top catching prospects in the 2013 class.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
