06/21/2024 - College World Series Experience - Session 2 Jonathan is a solid 5ft 11/170 LHP/OF in the 2025 class. He recently impressed scouts with his abilities at the Omaha experience. Defensively, he works to center his body to the baseball and his arm strength can help prevent the extra 90’s on the paths. He shows ball security and the trust factor to make the routine play look routine. Working on a quicker 1st step will allow him to close the distance to the baseball. On the mound, he is a pure strike thrower. He works with high efficiency and mixes his pitches well. Can tend to use his breaking pitch with high volume and working off his FB more can increase effectiveness. Worked three inn and scattered one hit with 3 K’s and zero BB’s. FB touched 79 with sinking action and breaking pitch had tight spin at 65-6. At the plate, he trusts his hands and creates consistent contact. Registered quality at bats with a hit in BB in 6 plate appearances. Working to incorporate his lower half will provide further carry on his ball flight. Overall, Jonathan is a solid two-way prospect in the 2025 class.
