09/05/2010 - College PREP - Plainfield, IN Jordan is a lean, athletic, 2-way player that plays OF and 2nd base. In the OF, Jordan reads the ball off the bat well, takes good angles, and he makes plays on balls hit his way. He has playable hands and he gathers himself well before throwing to his target. OF skills can get better if Jordan can work in a lower position, and add arm strength and accuracy to his target. In the INF, Jordan makes plays, has average footwork, and he looks the part. He feeds the ball accurately when turning the double play, and throws with decent accuracy. If Jordan can field the ball further out in front of his body, and loosen his arm action, INF skills can further improve. Offensively, Jordan has good balance and a short swing path. He has a level swing plane, he puts the ball in play, and can work the ball to the opposite field. Hitting can get better if Jordan can quicken his bat and get more extension through the ball.
