08/01/2012 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 Crumpler showed as a catcher at the event and performed well despite a broken hand. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a well above average runner at 7.04. Feet are active as he works in line through a clean exchange. Pop times showed in the 2.2 range as he needs to use his lower half more and build more arm strength to continue to lower times. Receiving / blocking skills show potential but needs to continue to develop to be quality tools at the next level. At the plate, Jordan shows a balanced setup with rhythm. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed through a level swing path. Power numbers will continue to improve as he learns to use his lower half more. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard.
