10/03/2010 - College PREP - Trenton, NJ Jordan is an average sized, LHP that will graduate in 2011. On the mound, Jordan repeats his delivery well and keeps his eyes to his target. He gets to his balance point well, competes in the zone, and pitches to contact. Jordan can become more of a factor on the mound by smoothing out his delivery, adding arm strength, and finishing off his pitches. Offensively, Jordan has a decent approach and he puts the bat on the ball. He has a pretty level swing, but will need to shorten up, loosen his grip, and get his front foot down sooner for offensive grades to improve.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
