08/29/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Baltimore, MD Jordan Morris is a 3B/2B prospect that recently played at the All-Ripken Games. It was evident right off the bat that he has a very high-level baseball IQ especially when running the bases. At the plate he has a very aggressive approach and that was able to correlate into two base hits. He also had a hard hit long fly ball to left field. Defensively his arm is extremely accurate. Weekend was highlighted by an outstanding catch at second base where he was able to double a runner off. On the mound his fastball was clocked at 51 mph. He was able to compliment that fastball with a changeup that had arms side run to it. Overall, he is an ultimate competitor both on the mound and at the plate.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
