06/17/2010 - Omaha Pro Select Training and Tournament - Week 1 Jordan showed similar skills in Omaha as he did at his last workout in Murray, UT. He is a young, tall, athletic player who will graduate in 2012. On the mound, Eric has good arm speed and a coordinated delivery. He competes on the hill, attacks hitters, and he pitches to contact. Looser actions, improved velocity, and better tempo will help mound effectiveness improve. In the INF, Jordan has good footwork around the bag and he keeps the ball in front of his body. He stays down on the ball and throws accurately to his target. Offensively, Jordan is an aggressive hitter with good bat speed. He can hit to all fields, and has pop in his bat. If Jordan can avoid pulling off the ball, and add physical strength, we could see a spike in offensive tool grades. He went 3 for 7 with 2 BB's in tournament play.
