02/17/2020 - National Tryout Plus - Beverly Hills (Detroit), MI Jordan increased arm strength to 61 MPH and exit velocity to 66 MPH during his last workout in Detroit. At 1B, Jordan has a soft glove, efficient footwork, and he fields athletically. He makes plays, fields squarely, and throws with a high 3/4 arm slot to his target. On the mound, Jordan has good balance over the rubber, he keeps his eyes on target, and shows solid direction toward home plate. Offensively, this RHH has an aggressive swing through a quiet approach. He makes hard/level contact and he uses his lower body well.

Defensively, Jordan has has good pre-pitch actions, he gives good effort to the ball, and he makes the routine plays. The balls sticks to his glove, his exchange is clean, and he throws with a long arm action across the diamond. On the mound, Jordan is a competitor, he keeps his eyes on target, and is around the zone with his pitches. Hitting and power grades both improved to 38 and 32 respectively.

11/15/2018 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition at Pirate City (Ages 12-14) Jordan is a coachable 1B/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Select Training & Competition at Pirate City. In the field, Jordan shows efficient footwork and makes the routine plays. He throws from over top and keeps his throws accurate and on-line to his target. Getting into a lower fielding position can help Jordan improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and gets into his load well. He his from a strong front side and sprays the ball to all fields. Jordan can improve as a hitter by taking a square stride. On the mound, Jordan gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He keeps his eyes on target and remains balanced in his finish. Jordan's fastball tops out at 51mph. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
