08/01/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (HS) Jordan is a coachable OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, Jordan shows smooth footwork with a quick first step. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with a firm glove. He gains ground well on his throws and keeps them accurate to his target. Long tossing can help Jordan build up his arm strength. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance with loose hands. He shows controlled rhythm in the box and drives through well with his lower half, producing solid line drives. Jordan can create more consistent contact by maintaining balance during his stride. Overall, Jordan is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

02/27/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Ruther Glen (Richmond), VA Jordan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. In the OF, defensive abilities have improved, now showing well above average abilities as he shows smooth / fluid actions. He takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. Feet are active and works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach.

08/09/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Kannapolis (Charlotte), NC Jordan is a lean OF who has a promising future on the diamond. In the OF, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to get behind balls and plays with momentum to his target. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. With 2 years to further develop, Jordan has potential with time and room to improve his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
