07/22/2019 - National Tryout Plus - Roseville (Minneapolis), MN Jordan is an athletic OF/RHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. In the OF, Jordan shows efficient footwork and attacks the ball aggressively. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and works to keep his throws accurate to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a crouched stance and takes a square stride. He is smooth getting into his load and leads well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed, leading to solid contact and line drives. On the mound, Jordan shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 70mph with tailing action. Breaking ball sits from 56-61mph with 11-5 break. Overall, Jordan is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

07/18/2018 - National Tryout Plus - Minneapolis, MN Jordan is a talented OF/RHP prospect who has a versatile skill set. As a right-handed hitter, Jordan has a square and athletic stance. He maintains a still head with smooth rhythm and a long stride. Jordan has an on-plane swing path and good feel for his barrel. He is a contact type hitter who has a middle of the field approach. In the field, Jordan plays with an aggressive approach and effective footwork. He presents his glove and fields the ball in a square position. Jordan plays through the baseball with good momentum towards his target. He has a short arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. His throws are consistently accurate with good strength. On the mound, Jordan has on-time mechanics and throws a heavy ball. He has a clean arm action and cuts off his release. He lands open to home plate and can benefit from a longer stride. Jordan features a fastball and curveball. Overall, Jordan is a well-rounded prospect who has potential to elevate his game with development.

12/20/2017 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Jordan is a coachable OF/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Baseball Factory Winter Classic. In the field, Jordan shows active footwork and is very agile ranging to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. Jordan can improve defensively by following through more on his throws. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes his stride on time. He is fluid getting back into his load and comes through well with his lower half. He takes a direct swing with explosive bat speed which leads to hard contact and solid pop. Jordan can improve as a hitter by keeping his center balance throughout his swing. On the mound, Jordan shows a solid delivery as he gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm action and extends through on his release, finishing square to the plate. Jordan's fastball tops out at 66mph with good cutting action. Jordan can improve as a pitcher by keeping his front side strong. With four more years to develop, Jordan has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
