02/28/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Davie, FL Jorge continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best, displaying outstanding hitting abilities / power potential through a squared setup. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression (87 mph exit velocity) as he connects with gap to gap pop. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth, athletic actions. Feet are active as he displays proper foot work around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. Throws are accurate but needs

02/10/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Delray Beach, FL Jorge raised hitting numbers to 48's during his last workout with The Factory. He is a strong hitter with a rhythmic swing, a square stride, and fast bat speed. Jorge tracks well, hits hard to the pull side, and he uses his lower body well. At SS, Jorge has soft hands, active feet, and he takes good angles to the ball. He has good pre-pitch actions, gains momentum toward his target, and throws with accuracy. Overall skills can continue to improve with work on the following.

07/22/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Jorge continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 74 mph. Fastball shows a range of 70-74 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with loose spin and gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but will benefit by developing more movement on pitch. Delivery is repeatable and simple as he works in line to his target. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At 3B, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up, presenting hands as he makes the plays. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds of the double play. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he continues to shine through a tall setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields and has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

04/29/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Fort Myers, FL Jorge is a young, 2-way player with good skills. Defensively, Jorge has fluid footwork, soft hands, and he works around the ball well. He fields low and athletically, his exchange is clean, and throws with accuracy from a quick arm action to his target. On the mound, Jorge stands over the rubber well balanced, he has a clean arm circle, and a controlled landing toward home plate. Offensively, Jorge has an athletic set-up, he swings in good rhythm, and stands in well balanced. He tracks well, makes hard/consistent contact, and can hit to all fields. Jorge can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
