03/24/2024 - National Showcase - Manalapan, NJ Joseph is a RHP who will graduate in 2026. On the mound he has a clean arm stroke and separates his hands on-time. Does a good job of working at the bottom of the zone and has good feel for secondary pitches. He challenges hitters with a FB that topped out at 69mph with sink, a 12/6 breaking ball with plus command, and a changeup with arm side run. At the plate he hits from an athletic and closed stance. He gets knob to C and is centered at contact. Shows a direct barrel path as he hit line drives to all fields. With 2 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Joseph making huge strides on the baseball field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
