11/19/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Marlborough (Boston), MA Joseph is a lean, athletic SS. Defensively at SS, he displays fluid footwork and hustles well into a low/athletic fielding position on GB's. He funnels the GB with soft hands and makes accurate throws across the infield. As a hitter, this righty shows an athletic setup with a strong base. He takes aggressive hacks through the zone and looks to drives pitches back up through the middle of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
