01/19/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Joseph is a 2027 OF/RHP prospect that recently showed his skills at the Rookie Pre-Season All-American Tournament. In the OF, he does a nice job pre-pitch of getting on the balls of his feet in a ready position. He shows off active footwork and gets a solid first step. He does a nice job of getting his body in a good position to make throws into the infield and he makes accurate throws from an overhand slot. At the plate, he starts in an open stance with comfortable hands. He has a simple load and does a good job of getting his lower half involved. His swing is on-plane to the baseball and he displays impressive bat speed. He made some hard, consistent contact and flashed good power. He recorded an impressive exit velo of 80 MPH and he reached base in 6 of 7 plate appearances in game action with 6 walks, showing the ability to be patient and not chase. On the mound, he has a good presence and a good feel for the position with a high level of compete. He gathers his balance over the rubber and gets on-time separation. His arm action is clean and he does a good job of staying direct to the plate with a proper stride length. He has the ability to throw strikes with all three of his offerings, and he struck out 4 in 3 innings of game action while allowing only one hit. Joseph should continue to develop well and will definitely be a prospect to keep an eye on!
