05/13/2018 - College PREP - Windsor (Madison), WI Joseph is a tall and solid 2019 RHP prospect. On the bump, Joseph gathers over the rubber, separates on time, and extends through his release point. He works north to south and commands the bottom half of the zone. He has arm side run on his fastball and repeats his delivery. At the plate, Joseph starts in an open stance and loads his hands back into the drive position. He hits off a firm front side, stays balanced through contact, and drives the ball to all fields. Joseph will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
