He has a very sure glove and is reliable in both shortstop and outfield, with a strong, accurate arm that allows him to make precise throws and control the game. His understanding of the game and ability to read situations makes him a standout defender, and his instincts will only continue to grow as he develops. At the plate, Joseph exhibits excellent bat-to-ball skills, with a swing that consistently produces line drives. He’s a contact hitter with great strike zone discipline, using the whole field effectively and rarely missing pitches in his wheelhouse.
