11/07/2021 - All-In Membership - Salem (Roanoke), VA Josh is a C prospect who will graduate in 2022. Behind the dish, Josh tracks the ball into his glove and works to make accurate throws to the 2B bag. Sitting in a more athletic stance can help Josh improve his overall catching ability. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a short stride. He works through a direct swing and produces strong line drives. Josh can barrel up more baseballs by maintaining center balance throughout his swing. Overall, Josh is a developing prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
