11/14/2021 - All-In Membership - Pittsburgh, PA Julian is a young, thin, 2-way player who plays 2nd base and catcher. In the INF, Julian has active feet, a presentable glove, and he squares his body up well to the baseball. He has clean hands, he makes plays consistently, and he throws with accuracy from a long arm action to his target. Abilities in the INF can get better if Julian can play more through, and not stand up so vertically when throwing. Behind the plate, Julian has a square set-up, he sticks the ball well, and he tries hard to use his body. He gains ground, his exchange is clean, and he has good accuracy to 2nd base. Pop times were as low as 3.2 seconds. A lower set-up, work on blocking, and a quicker release will help catching get better. Offensively, Julian has a square set-up, a rhythmic swing, and he swings aggressively. He has good bat speed, a level swing path, and he rotates his lower body well. Hitting numbers can improve with work on balance and added bat speed.
