07/27/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (HS) Julius is a coachable SS/3B prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, Julius shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with a firm glove. His exchange is clean and he makes strong/accurate throws to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a soft stride. He shows fluid rhythm and hits against a strong front side. He works through a compact swing and produces strong line drives to his pull side. With three more years to develop, Julius has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

04/25/2021 - All-In Membership - Midland, TX Julius is a 2024 SS. Medium frame athletic build with room to fill out and plenty of time to do it. Primary SS, with agile actions who tries to center baseball. Showed ability keep his eyes behind glove and pick out hops. Soft hands who fields ball out front. Clean transfer and tries to create momentum on his throws. Showed good body control on slow rollers. Good DP feeds and 2 hand pivots. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot with online throws at 75mph. Right-handed hitter with an upright and square stance. Quiet actions in box with a good feel for the strike zone. Short path to ball who showed ability to make contact to all fields. Recorded a bat exit velocity of 81mph during his BP round. With 4 years of continued growth and development, we foresee him having the opportunity to play at the next level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
