10/17/2010 - College PREP - Sauget (St. Louis), IL Justin is an athletic, 2-way player that plays OF and 3rd base. He currently projects equally as a 2-way player at the next level. In the OF, Justin tracks the ball well, has soft hands, and playable feet. He moves well laterally, makes plays, and he moves through the ball well. Justin has a loose arm action and throws accurately with carry to his target. OF skills can further improve if Justin can avoid flying open, add arm strength, and straighten out his throws. At 3rd base, Justin has soft / sure hands and good feet. He fields the ball out in front of his body, he moves well laterally, and has a clean exchange from glove to hand. Justin throws accurately across the diamond with life and carry to his target. INF skills can get better if Justin can get rid of the ball quicker. At the plate, Justin has a square set up, good balance, and a quick bat. He has a short swing path, he makes hard contact, and he gets good extension through the ball. Justin has some pop in his bat, and can get even better offensively if he can avoid wrapping his bat, and not reach for the ball.
