01/15/2010 - Under Armour Pre-Season All-America - 2010 Justin is a tall, RHP, with broad shoulders. His FB touched 86 MPH, and his off-speed pitches compliment his FB well. Justin has a projectable body and shows signs of plus arm strength. He has good mechanics, gets to his balance point well, and he has good load with his hips. Justin is not afraid to go at hitters and he pitches to contact. With some mechanical polish, and better body control, Justin's stock on the mound can rise.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
