11/14/2021 - All-In Membership - Marlborough (Boston), MA Justin is a 2B/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2022. In the field, Justin moves well laterally and gets into an athletic position. He fields the ball out in front with soft hands and has a clean exchange. He gets rid of the ball quickly and makes accurate throws to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He is smooth to load and works through a direct swing, spraying line drives to all fields. On the mound, Justin works through a quick tempo with a clean arm. He stays inline toward the plate and pounds the zone well. Justin operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 71mph with arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 64-65mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits from 67-68mph. Overall, Justin is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
