06/04/2018 - College PREP - Jupiter, FL Justin is an athletic and lean 2019 OF prospect. In the OF, Justin has an active prep step and reads the ball off the bat. He creates angles to field, works behind the ball, and makes accurate throws to the plate. At the plate, Justin starts in an open stance, he tries to use the lower half to attack the ball and he uses all fields. Continuing to attack the inside part of the ball and staying balanced through contact will allow him to drive the ball gap to gap. Justin will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
