05/28/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Keizer (Salem), OR Kaden is an athletic, 2-way player at 3B/RHP. Defensively at 3B, he takes a prep step and is quick on his feet working into an athletic fielding position. He takes aggressive angles to the GB and gives accurate DP feeds. On the mound, this righty gathers over the rubber and delivers from a 3/4 arm slot with free arm action. He commands a 3-pitch mix for strikes as he works in line and finishes strongly towards home plate. With the bat, Kaden shows a balanced setup and gets back into a good load. He drives pitches the opposite way and gets extension through contact. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
