12/04/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Honolulu, HI Kadon is a SS/RHP in the 2024 class. He recently made a name for himself at the Baseball Factory Showcase on December 4th, 2022. In the field, his footwork is exceptional and stays to the right of the baseball with agile flow. Gains an athletic fielding position with soft hands. Transfers in the middle of his body for a quick and strong (92 velo) release. His arm action is short and accurate. Working to sink his hips on the backhand will allow him to keep his eyes behind the leather and adjust to hops. On the mound, he is physically gifted. He pounds the zone and shows high energy. His FB sat 80-83 with run. His CB sat 64-6 with 9-3 sweeping action for swing and miss action. His CH sat 76-7 with deception. Maintaining his direction to the plate will be a key point as he progresses on the mound. In the box, he begins in a squared stance and gains an on-time separation. Weight stays inside his feet and allows his backside to get through. Uses the whole field and staying tall on the outer half pitch will generate more power to the backside gap. Overall, Kadon is a tremendous prospect and scouts are excited to see how far he progresses in the game.

10/06/2021 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic Kadon is a 2024 SS/RHP. Defensively, he shows smooth footwork with an explosive first step. He had good range with the ability to throw the ball accurately with carry across the infield. At the plate, he has a square athletic stance that is slightly open which allows him to get the barrel on plane consistently and hit line drives all over the field. Kadon has a great baseball attitude and hustles all over the field. On the mound, Kadon threw tons of strikes and mixed his pitches well. His BB has a 11-5 break with medium break. Kadon could benefit from an arm care program with long toss and bands to strengthen arm. Overall, Kadon is exhibiting the skill and knowledge to be a good ball player at the next level.

08/15/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Honolulu, HI Kadon is a SS/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2024. A medium frame athletic build with projectable frame with room to fill throughout moving forward. In the infield, he shows smooth actions, with efficient feet, and good body control. Creates good fielding angles and ability to play through the ball. Show some softness in his hands and fields the ball out front with good glove angle. Throws from multiple arm slots with accurate/on-line throws across diamond and an arm velocity of 87mph. A right-handed pitcher, he a quick arm and showed ability to repeat his delivery. Gets to a good balance point and separates his hands on time. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with good command of the strike zone. Attacks hitters with a FB that topped out at 72mph with arm side run, a 9/3 shaped curveball with medium depth, and a changeup that he has good feel for. FB was best pitch during his bullpen. At the plate, he hits from an upright and open stance. Hits into a firm front side with fast hands and he uses whole field. Short/direct barrel path as he hit line drives into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 77mph during his round of BP. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we can see this 2-way prospect having opportunities to play at the next level.

01/12/2020 - Interactive Video Program - Waipahu (Honolulu), HI Kadon is a thin, athletic, 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, Kadon has good pre-pitch actions, agile range, and has quick feet to the ball. He works around it well, fields low and athletically, and his exchange is clean with momentum and accuracy over to his target. On the mound, Kadon has good balance, a clean arm circle, and he separates his hands on time. He gets good extension toward home, finishes completely, and throws strikes. Offensively, Kadon is a strong hitter with an athletic stance. He has fast bat speed, a level swing path, and he can hit to all fields. Solid overall abilities can get even better with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
