07/22/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Kaedon is a lean and athletic 2022 2-way prospect that who has a high baseball IQ and made several adjustments throughout the week at pirate city. At 2B, Kaedon is on time with his prep step, creates angels to the ball, and works from the ground up. He has a clean exchange, turns double plays well, and has a quick release. At the plate, Kaedon starts in a squared stance, loads his hands back into the drive position, and his off a firm front side. He stays balanced through contact and has quick hands to the ball. Overall, he has solid hitting mechanics. Keeping a middle approach will improve his ability to use the whole field. On the bump, Kaedon gathers over the rubber, separates on time, and extends thru his delivery. He works down hill and drives the lower half toward the plate. He sits 71-73 with his fastball and has a big breaking on his curveball. Kaedon will continue with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

04/15/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Costa Mesa (Los Angeles), CA Kaedon is a tall, athletic, 2-way player who plays 3B and RHP. Defensively, Kaedon has active footwork, agile movements, and soft hands. He plays low, fields smoothly, and throws with accuracy from a short arm action to his target. On the mound, Kaedon has a clean arm circle, he works on a downhill plane, and rotates through toward his target. Offensively, Kaedon has an athletic set-up, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He makes hard/level contact, and has pop to the pull side. Kaedon can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
