12/20/2024 - Baseball Factory Pirate City Holiday Experience Kaleb is a solid first baseman in the class of 2025, displaying clean, smooth actions and active footwork around the bag, along with reliable receiving skills. As he improves foot quickness, his range will expand, and refining his glove presentation out front will boost his defensive play. Offensively, Kaleb shows a squared setup and quick hands through a level swing path, generating consistent line-drive contact with pull-side power. His lower half works well through an aggressive hip turn, adding pop to his swing. With time and continued growth, Kaleb has the potential to further elevate his overall game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
