06/23/2018 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Kamaehu is an athletic and talented 2021 utility player. At 3B, Kamaehu is on time with his prep step and presents a low/early glove. He fields the ball in an athletic position, has good footwork on double plays, and makes strong throws across the diamond. At the plate, Kamaehu starts in an athletic stance and loads his hands back into the drive position. He hits off a firm front side, sees the ball deep, and stays balanced through contact. He attacks the inside part of the ball and drives the ball gap to gap. Kamaehu is a student of the game and plays hard. He will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
