12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory Holiday Classic at Pirate City Kash is a promising outfielder from Tomball, TX, set to graduate in 2027, with a tall frame and athletic build. He worked hard to refine his skills at the Baseball Factory Pirate City Holiday Camp. In the outfield, Kash starts with a solid pre-pitch movement, works well behind and through the baseball, and demonstrates a good first step with effective reads. His high one-handed catches show his ability to track the ball, and he throws from a low three-quarter arm slot. To further develop, he’ll need to focus on improving the accuracy of his throws. At the plate, Kash shows impressive gap-to-gap power, and during the games, he recorded an RBI single and a walk. With two more years of growth and continued development, Kash has a bright future ahead and the potential to become a standout player.

10/02/2024 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic (2027) Kash Willock had an impressive performance at the Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic, showcasing his skills as both an outfielder and a right-handed pitcher while making significant contributions at the plate. Defensively, Kash took excellent routes to the ball, demonstrating his awareness and agility in the outfield. His accurate arm further strengthens his defensive profile, allowing him to make precise throws. Additionally, his speed is a notable asset, enhancing his ability to cover ground effectively. Continuing to refine his positioning will help maximize his defensive impact. On the mound, Kash possesses the perfect frame for a power pitcher, which bodes well for his future development. To elevate his performance, focusing on improving his command and velocity will be essential. With continued work in these areas, he has the potential to become a dominant presence on the hill. At the plate, Kash displayed very quick hands and an impressive exit velocity of 85 MPH, consistently making hard contact. His disciplined approach is evident, as he does not chase pitches outside of the strike zone, allowing him to maintain good plate discipline. His ability to get amazing jumps on stolen bases adds another layer to his offensive game. He excelled with six hits, including a standout double to the right-center field wall, and drove in one run, showcasing his ability to contribute meaningfully to the lineup. Overall, Kash made a strong impression at the Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic, demonstrating his versatility as an OF/RHP and his potential as a standout player. With continued focus on pitching command and velocity, alongside his offensive prowess and defensive skills, he is well on his way to becoming a significant contributor at the next level. His combination of speed, discipline, and power makes him an exciting prospect to follow

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
