01/17/2025 - 2025 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Kayden continues to show as a top prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has im-proved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 1B, defensive abilities are solid as he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active and displays proper footwork around the bag and he is a quality receiver. Hands are clean and presents well out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate with carry to his target. At the plate, hitting / power potential are solid through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing as he transfers weight into a firm front side. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 79 mph. Fastball showed a range of 74-79 mph with tailing action. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with early break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight sink. He attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

12/27/2023 - Baseball Factory East Coast Winter Classic Kayden is a 2029 3B/RHP who showcased his skills during the BF East Coast Winter Classic. At 3B he starts in an athletic ready position and works to close distance on batted balls. Shows a low funnel, with a loose arm stroke, and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. On the mound he works with good tempo and pitches to contact. He attacks hitters with a FB that topped out at 71mph with arm side run, an 11/5 shaped breaking ball, and a changeup with good movement that he throws with FB arm speed. In 2 innings of work, he punched out 2 hitters and induced soft contact. At the plate he hits from a tall and square stance with high hands. He hits into a firm front side and gets bat on-plane early. In live game action he reached base 4 times with a double, 2 singles, and was hit by pitch. Kayden plays with good energy and is a great teammate. We look forward to seeing him at another event in the near future.

12/16/2023 - National Showcase - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Kayden is a RHP/3B who will graduate in 2029. At 3B he closes distance on batted balls and creates good fielding angles. He fields from a square fielding position with hands out front. Has a low funnel and works with good direction towards his target. Made accurate throws across diamond with an arm velocity up to 76mph. On the mound he has a simple and repeatable delivery. Works with good tempo and has a clean arm stroke. Attacks hitters with a FB that topped 69mph, an 11/5 shaped breaking ball, and a circle changeup. At the plate he hits from an athletic and even stance. A lower half driven swing with ability to get on-plane early. Showed a fast barrel through the hitting zone as he hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 82mph. With 5 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Kayden making huge strides on the baseball field.

11/11/2023 - National Showcase - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Kayden is a 2029 1B/RHP prospect that showed a ton of upside at the National Showcase in Palmyra. At first, he showed off soft hands and impressive instincts in getting to the baseball. He is really athletic around the bag and puts himself in the right position to make plays. His arm is really impressive and he makes strong, accurate throws to his targets. He recorded a raw velo of 76 MPH in the field. At the plate, he starts in a squared stance and has an on-time stride and a good load back. He has a very repeatable swing and shows off fluid rhythm/timing. He keeps his balance centered through contact and works through the baseball with his lower half. He has a lot of intent and stays short to the ball with an on-plane swing path. He does a great job of firing his hips to square the ball up consistently. On the mound, he throws from a 3/4 slot and has great feel for the strike zone. He has a solid frame and gets on-time separation. His arm action is quick and clean and he gets good extension through his release point. He does a good job of getting into his stride and his front side is impressive. He showed some life with his FB and his CH showed some run. His CB projects as an out pitch with late bite. Kayden is definitely a prospect to keep an eye on as he continues to develop his baseball skills!

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
