01/22/2023 - National Showcase - Bothell (Seattle), WA Kealoha is a talented SS/RHP in the 2025 class. He recently impressed scouts with his actions on the diamond. In the field, he shows advanced actions. His feet are quick and takes great routes to the ball with agile movements. Plays under the baseball and fields out in front. Separates in the middle of his body to gain numerous arm slots based upon his defensive zones. Arm plays (85mph velo) and is accurate with life. On the mound, he has a repeatable delivery and keeps his eyes to the target. Displays proper balance and stays in-line with the target. His FB touched 80 and showed command. His SL had 11-5 shape and late break. His CH sat 72-4 and offered deception and sink. At the plate, he begins with an open stance and uses a short stride. Gets into his backside well and stays inside his feet. Hits off a firm front side and produces load contact. Creates line drive production and will use the whole field. Working to stay through the zone will increase his backspin rate and eliminate a lift in his swing. Overall, Kealoha plays above grade and is a must follow in the 2026 class.
